INDECISION!

Six consecutive times, I battled with settling on a perfect caption for this piece. As I stared at my wall clock, I realized I had spent nothing less than forty-eight minutes debating on the topic of this piece. The reality of my indecision and its consequences suddenly hit my number 6 and it occurred to me that the events of the past forty-eight minutes actually provided the answer I had been brainstorming to get.
How many times have you had to cancel, post-pone or discard tasks simply because of the fear of the unknown? You fear you will not get it right and are also sceptical of its acceptability by others. I tell you what? YOU NEVER GET IT RIGHT TILL YOU HAVE TRIED IT ONCE.
This brings me to the revealed clue of my earlier quest. Here I was, with my pen, staring at my blank sheet, having written nothing, yet seeking to give it a title. Is that not the beginning of madness? God forbid! Not with me. The point to note here is: YOU NEVER GET STARTED TILL YOU START SOMETHING. So, I titled today’s caption, “INDECISION”
INDECISION is described as a state of being unable to decide; hesitation.
Many people fail or remain backward in life today because of their indecision in accomplishing what they ought to have accomplished. One major consequence of indecision is ‘Time wastage’. We all know that time is something that can never replaced when lost; again, we are aware that time waits for no one.
What are those projects, tasks, assignments of yours awaiting execution but remaining pending because you have not decided on when and how to start? I charge you today, take the first bold step to DECIDE on when and how to start them.
Wait a minute, what did I just do? Oh! I finally filled this blank sheet of mine with words and wow! Looks like I found my topic for this piece and you just read it. Sounds fun, right? Thanks for helping me find my topic and… now you follow suit, quit that indecision and… come on, get started… NOW!
