This incident is the latest in a string of school abductions in Nigeria, highlighting the need for increased security measures to protect students and educational institutions.
Moms Africa is deeply concerned about the escalating insecurity in Nigeria, particularly the brazen attacks on schools and the abduction of innocent students. This latest incident is a stark reminder of the government’s failure to protect its citizens, especially the most vulnerable. We demand that the authorities take immediate and concrete actions to ensure the safe release of the abducted girls and bring the perpetrators to justice. The lives of Nigerian children are not bargaining chips, and it’s time for the government to act decisively to protect them. We stand in solidarity with the affected families and the people of Kebbi State, and we will continue to demand accountability from our leaders.
